Costos e Impactos de Planes para el Sector Salud en Guatemala: Resultados de una Aplicación de OneHealth

One of the central tenets of the government of Guatemala's long-term development strategy is a focus on improving the health of its people. Understanding the costs associated with this goal is crucial to successful strategy development and implementation. A more efficient use of funds, aligned with national health goals, can maximize health outcomes with limited resources and contribute to improving budget planning and prioritization, ensuring that resources and supplies are available to meet the needs of the health sector. To facilitate these processes, the HEP + project supported the government of Guatemala to estimate the cost and impact of a package of priority health services.
